Konica Minolta gets top marks from Bolton College
Bolton College is one of the largest providers of further education in north-west England who recently relocated. As part of the relocation, they used this as an opportunity to rationalise their print management and document imaging.
They had 280 printers with various suppliers and on different contracts. And several older photocopiers that weren't networked. Managing the logistics, cost and support for this print fleet was very demanding. They needed to rationalise their range of suppliers and print technologies.

Challenge
Bolton College needed a more efficient and effective solution to meet the demanding needs of the College and decided to investigate using multifunctional devices for their workgroups.
The move to a new state-of-the-art campus was perfect timing for this project and the team worked closely with its procurement partners, Tenet Education Services, in its selection process for a new supplier of print services.
Solution
The new managed print solution we supplied has reduced their operating costs and administrative time. The usage records allow us to optimise usage of the devices and re-position devices in high workload areas with a less utilised machine.
The College has seen substantial benefits from the new Konica Minolta print solution, both economic and logistical.
